Corporate Chocolate Tour

When?

Time:  Any day of the week.  Start times are flexible (subject to store opening hours)

Duration:  Various options from 1 hour to 3 hours

Group sizes:

Option 1:  Our minimum group size is 6.  Our maximum group size is 20

Options 2:  Our minimum group size for is 4.  Our maximum group size is 12.

If you have more people than that we can cater for multiple groups.  In this scenario we will provide more than one guide and offer slightly different tour itineraries

Option 3:

You tell us your estimated participant numbers, budget and time constraints and we’ll tailor an itinerary to suit your requirements

Meeting point: 

Our usual meeting points are either outside St Paul's Cathedral or The Block Arcade; however, we will try to accommodate requests for other meeting points.

Price:

Option 1:  $49 per participant (plus organiser comes for free)

Chocolate tour for 1hr 45mins to 2 hours, visiting 4 venues. all chocolate tastings included plus patisserie & coffee

Option 2:  $99 per participant (plus organiser comes for free)

Chocolate tour for 2hr 45mins to 3 hours, visiting 5 venues, all chocolate tastings, plus Cheese & chocolate matching experience, Dessert, Hot chocolate, Chocoholic Survival Kit

Option 3:  Final cost to be agreed.  Minimum fee is $49 per participant (plus organiser comes for free)

Our Chocolate walking tours are the perfect combination of chocolate and magic sweet treats around Melbourne’s city centre.  Join your local tour guide for a delightful stroll as you discover some of the finest chocolatiers and pattisiers Melbourne has to offer.  We stroll through Melbourne’s famous laneways and arcades sampling chocolates and other treats.

What happens on the tour?

Meeting your local tour guide we’ll uncover some of Melbourne’s hidden gems you were previously unaware of.

The tour commences with your local guide spending some time getting to know the group and explaining the itinerary for the walking tour.  They will also spend a few valuable minutes talking about the correct way to taste chocolate.  Yes, there is a right way and a wrong way and once you know how you’ll want to tell everyone else!  Once armed with this knowledge you’re ready to embark upon your chocolate walking tour of Melbourne.

Over the course of the tour we will walk up to two kilometres and visit amazing chocolatiers.  All our partners offer couverture chocolate (the good stuff!). Some of the stores we visit are international favourites, however most are exclusively Australian and many are unique to Melbourne.  They all have their unique tastings and experiences.  While the specific partners we visit can vary from time to time we can guarantee amazing chocolates and incredible experiences on every tour.

On the chocolate walking tour we will visit some of Melbourne’s most iconic arcades, chatting about the history and sharing some of the fascinating stories they hold and navigating down hidden laneways.

As we arrive at each chocolate store we’ll spend some time getting to know the story behind the businessand at some we are lucky enough to meeteither the owner or the manager of the store (sometimes they are one and the same person!) before we enjoy our specially curated tasting experience.

There is then time to browsethe store and take advantage of the exclusive participant discounts on offer before we compare notes on our favourites and continue our discovery.  (Please note that all tour visits are pre-planned and there is no expectation to purchase.)

Booking process

Initially we just need the date and time you’d like to book and an estimate of the number of people attending the tour.  We will then create a booking in our system.  About a week before the tour date we will confirm the final number of attendees with you and any dietary requirements in the group

Payment 

We can either accept payment by credit card or we can send an invoice to the school.  Please let us know if you require us to quote a purchase order number.
